Educational Leadership and Management


BA Graduates are equipped with foundational knowledge to effectively lead and manage educational institutions, and training and centers. They are prepared to address challenges, foster collaboration and promote a positive organizational culture to drive improvement.  


MA Graduates possess advanced skills to lead educational institutions effectively. They are prepared to drive organizational change, and improve outcomes through innovation and apply research to solve complex problems in educational settings.


PhD Graduates are expert professionals prepared to transform educational systems through advanced research and policy analysis. They are equipped to address systemic challenges, advocate for equity, and provide strategic leadership at national and international levels.


Lifelong Learning and Community Development

Graduates possess a comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding to:

  • Apply knowledge of adult education, lifelong learning, and community development.
  • Demonstrate essential life skills for facilitating community growth and personal development.
  • Uphold values that prepare them for employment, active citizenship, a lifetime of continuous learning.


Special Needs and Inclusive Education 

BA Graduates are prepared to:

  • Advocate for issues related to Special Needs and Inclusive Education (SNIE).
  • Plan and manage inclusive education programs across all levels (pre-Primary to TVET).
  • Promote accessible physical environment and inclusive practices at home, in the community, and in institutions.
  • Organize rehabilitation and specialized support services for learners with special educational needs.

MA Graduates are prepared for expert roles in teaching , research , and community service within governmental and nongovernmental organizations. They demonstrate ability to design, lead and evaluate projects and educational programs in the field of special needs and inclusive education.

Psychology 

Graduates are equipped to:

  • Conduct problem-solving research in Counseling, Developmental, and Social Psychology.
  • Study behavior through observation, interviews, and surveys.to identify psychological, emotional, or organizational issues.
  • Diagnose disorders and research conditions such as anxiety and depression.
  • Organize, facilitate, and provide counseling and advisory services across all education levels and organizational types. 
  • Create awareness about the psychological principles within communities and contribute to positive school climates and societal wellbeing. Advocate for the benefits of education for individual development, and national sustainable development. 

School of Teachers Education  

Graduates are prepared to:

  • Conduct research on instructional methods, assessment, classroom management, pedagogy, and curriculum design.
  • Serve as subject teachers at all levels of the education system (pre-primary through secondary). 
  • Participate in curriculum design and development.
  • Create and implement lesson plans, assess student performance, communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, manage schools effectively, and engage in extracurricular activities to ensure a positive learning environment.
