Collaborations

Due to a project proposal designed and produced by Professor Tesfaye Semela & Doctor Habtemariam Kassa in 2017 E C, collaborations project has been commenced with a total fund amount of USD 79,917.75 or ETB 10,229,472. The project title is “Baseline study on the state of early childhood development in Sidama Region”.

Labs, workshops

The College of Education and Behavioral Sciences has two ICT labs that enable educators to present information in text, images, videos, and simulations that cater to diverse learning styles. Students can access knowledge from around the world, conduct research, collaborate with peers, and engage in self-paced learning. It also helps during exit exam and Higher Education Entrance Exam administration in the HU.

Libraries, Cafeteria, Clinic, and others

The College of Education and Behavioral Sciences (COEBSs) does have its own Library, which has been providing services for teachers and students not only in the COEBSs but also for Colleges in Main Campus of Hawassa University.

There is an Inclusiveness Club in The College of Education and Behavioral Sciences (COEBSs). It provides voluntary services for students of disability in the Main Campus of Hawassa University. The College has also established one secondary school and kindergarten level schools to provide educational service for Hawassa University staff and the larger community.
